heat/ac blower fan control

Just wondering if anyone has tips to check / repair this:

Recently, my heater/ac only works on the high setting (blower speed control). Used to work all around. Its driving me nuts... I die of heat or freeze in this crazy winter weather! Any help is appreciated.

Was all working fine, then stopped randomly.

sounds like the blower motor resistor.
