Are you gonna be autocrossing or open tracking the car? If so then heat cycling can prevent lots of initial wear as the tread compound is not fully bonded with itself when produced, until substantial heat and load is applied. But if your not doing these things its not nescessary. And why spend money on that.... when ever I get new tires or install new race pads I bed the pads and/or heat cycle the tires at the local expressway cloverleaf...of course I do this at wee hrs. of the morning. Just watch out for cops...I had one hear me (cars loud) and he found me on my way home. Asked me where I was going, etc.etc. ended up giving me a ticket for having blown rear liscence plate bulbs...cause he had nothing else on me ..but I digress.
BTW are these the 555's or the R's or RII's (road race tires)..I would only really heat cycle the RII's and maybe the R's (drag radial).
THe 555r's could benifit from heatcycling if you corner hard on them (prolly not since they have a soft sidewall and you car is prolly setup for drag racing). But you could heat cycle yuourself with a gentle burn out (not too much smoke). Plus it'll take the stikers off the tires pretty easy.
