Not getting much heat out of the heater. When heat does flow out it is only luke warm.Anyone have any thoughts on what to check before changing the heater core. Someone told me to flush the heater core since it has been sitting for a while. Thermostat has been changed already. Any thoughts?
full coolant system flush and fill. cheap, easy and a quick fix if the core is just gummed up.
you can also just quickly flush the heater core to see if that is the major porblem. pull both lines going into it and use a hose with hot water and give it hell thru both hoses. when it runs clear hook it up and see.
