Heater Core - Hose Question, Please help!

Need to figure out what this part is.

The outlet heater hose (drivers side) comes out of the valve from the fire wall and goes into the engine. There is a black plastic (I think) valve that the outlet hose plugs into. The value that goes into the engine has a crack in it and I am leaking radiator fluid. I have searched my shop manual for this hose connector but cannot find the name or part number for it. Any help would be great!!!

IIRC, the heater is fed from the metal coolant tube that runs from the water pump and through the valley (under the lower intake manifold). This is the heater core connection on the driver's side. The heater outlet (passenger's side) feeds back into the top of the lower intake manifold at the back of the manifold. The outlet hose has some sort of restrictor or something in it, too.

If the plastic stub is leaking on the manifold, then you need to replace the manifold.

If you mean that there is a tee connector in the outlet, then the previous owner has installed a Prestone flush kit tee. You can pick up a new one at AutoZone or PepBoys or NAPA, etc.
