Heater Removed ????Hard lines on Intake ?????

Living in Florida I never use my heater. And since I set the motor back an inch with my tall fabbed VCs the heater core tubes of the firewall were in the way.

So can I remove the hard lines and just connect the sensor. But then agian the sensor wont just screw in will it?

Yeah you can remove the lines. You'll just need a brass reducer to fit the ECT into the lower intake. I can't remember the thread sizes but I think if you do search you'll find the reducer size.

Yeah, it can be done. i did it to my car and it really cleans up the look.

Thanks you can consider it removed...But what is that sensor for? Isnt the other one temp as you can see in the pic its the one still on there.

It's for the ECT. The one in the picture is the sender for the temp gauge.

Engine Coolant Temp sensor...it's where the computer gets temp signal from.
