Today my Mustang started doing something strange. I took the car to get some lunch this afternoon and it was doing great. Then out of the blue after leaving a stop light the damn clutch pedal feels really really heavy. I am able to drive the car but it is not pleasant. I have a clutch cable adjuster and I tried altering it and it still feels really heavy.

The clutch and flywheel are not oem, I had them replaced 3 years ago and the clutch cable as well. Has anyone experienced this before?

Check the condition of the clutch quadrant and clutch cable. Also, pull up on the clutch pedal and see if it takes up some slack in the cable.

I would bet that the cable is binding somewhere

Im going to disconnect the clutch cable tomorrow, I will let you guys know what I find.

Well it was the plan, I actually spent most of my day trying to fix my other car before I went to work. I wont be able to get to the Mustang until Thursday I believe.
