Well I'm going to try and live this winter with no car and see how long I'll be able to do this. I can use my boss's car almost anytime I want beeing he lives next door. If this doesn't work out, I want to find a 5 speed Escort GT from the 90's.

The Corsica sucks up too much gas. I did Granby Magog with the Corsica and it cost me 30 bucks @ 96 cents per liter... With the Mustang I did Granby Magog/Deauville (via the scenic route 112 and not the 10) and it cost me 18 @ 114 cents per liter haha! The red barron also needs new brakes and other little things that aren't worth fixing imo. I mean I'd at least want my daily driver to take less fuel than the Mustang lol That damn 3 speed and 3.1L V6 isn't the best setup for economy. They are tuff little bastard cars though, built like a tank.

Believe it or not, but I got 28mpg on an average run with the 'stang. Shifting at 1400 or 1600 in town and following the speed limits.

hmmm now that I think about it... 28mpg? I'm going to have to retest this to make sure... A lot of people are calling BS on that one lol

What's wrong with shifting at 1400rpm? I put in a diesel engine lol
