Hey all my name is Derrick been a fan of muscle cars and classics since i was a kid. I just recently purchased a 76 cobra II which i plan on doing a restomod. Nothing crazy, but a decent preformance as well as a nice rebuild. The cobra has pretty much no rust on it since its been in vegas most of its life n was never driven only has 46K miles on it however it doesnt have a motor. I plan on puting a 302 in it which i will be taking out of a 71 torino. Right now my plan of attack is gonna redo the interior swap out the rear axle for the 8.8 rear end with the 5 lug and disk brakes, swap out the 4 speed for a T5 transmission to match up with the 8.8, and upgrade the suspension. Although its gonna be a slow build since im on a budget but should be fun none the less.
