Welcome Justin ! I read your other post, too. The PATS system is a hard thing to get around. Every one I've dealt with had to either be towed to the dealer or a tuner had to turn it off.
The PATS system does look for recognition through the PCM. It may be a better idea to ship your computer off to be repaired. Surprised no one has cracked PATS on 2001 and up cars yet.
