I'm new here, I am doing research on buying a new car, I only drive 2-door coupes with rear wheel drive or trucks so I'm pretty much limited to a few choices, I'm torn between the Stang and the Challenger R/T at the moment so I'm looking for more info. Speed and racing are not a concern but I want a V-8 engine. My first car was a Mustang II with a 302 and 4-speed, it was a fun little car.

Wow, 49 views and not a single welcome? I joined a Challenger forum to research those and got a bunch of welcomes, makes me wonder is all.

That's a tough choice. I would happily give my wife's fox up for an srt8. Not sure she would though.

Any particular year mustang your thinking about? It would make a difference if you're comparing a 82 Mustang to a new r/t compared to a new mustang.

A new one, 2014 model, not sure I want a 2015 or not.

I'm usually the first to welcome someone aboard, but have been vacationing in Maine and doing exactly as @Noobz347 mentioned, albeit with very spotty, mostly non existant cell signal.
