First time owner of a saweeeet 1983 GLX Convertible v6 3.8 OHC 3 speed trans black exterior/red interior. All stock and in really good shape. Starting the clean up process on her and first up is looking for a replacement dash pad if anyone knows of any out there still in existence.
Welcome! Nice car. I would check CJ Pony Parts, LateModel Restoration and local junk yards. If none of those have it, maybe some of the guys in the fox forum have more suggestions.
I have an '83 GLX t-top coupe that i just started bringing back to life.
I bought my new dash from CJ Pony parts. I can't tell you for sure how it will fit yet, it'll be about a month or so before i'm to that stage.
Mine has the essex V6 in it as well as the auto.
Why don't you come to the '79-'95 general talk subforum and do some snooping there. Start a new thread there saying hey to everyone and post a bunch of pictures of your car. We love us some pictures. That's were us fox geeks hang out.
There is some real talent there, i think with the group we have we could answer just about anything with a fox body.
