Hey all. Just wondering if anyone visits this side of the site anymore?? Seems not cause the last thread was in 2007. So three years later, here we are!
How are all of you??? Any ride changes? Would anyone be interested in doing a meet somewhere this summer?

Hey, I still check the forum every once and awhile! I moved from Regina to Edmonton a couple years ago. Getting ready to get the stang out this week I got a new head unit last year, but other than that buying a house makes for no new mods!

I've got around 27,000km on my car. You should post some pictures of your car, I see you pretty new to the forums!

27,000kms??? wow thats awesome!
I've got about 91,400kms on my ride atm. She's my DD now though, but I'm still going to try to keep them as low as I can
Here's a few old pics.... I clay-barred, polished, and waxed my car today, but couldn't be bothered to take any new pics due to the 25km/h wind and the dust from the construction sites around here

Sorry, I'm not much of a photographer, but I'll try to post more pictures as soon as the weather permits.

I haven't given lowering too much thought... Not a whole lot of $$ right now as I'm still a student. Maybe I'll look into it during the summer.
What are some popular kits? I just ordered new tires from Tire Rack and I saw some lowering springs on there, but not ever having any experience with the kits, I really don't know what way to go. I know Eibach makes good springs, but what else would I need??
I live in Airdrie (just outside of Calgary)

@Outlaw5.0
Yes I know what you mean... There is lots of traffic on the forum and I find it hard to keep track of my posts and everthing

H&R Springs... Only way to go.

As for other parts, You can reuse your old iso's if there in good shape and you'll need to get an alignment when your done. Other than that your good to go.

$400-500 bones (springs and alignment) and about 4-5 hours in garage floor mechanic's and your all done.

I 100% agree with the H&R springs, check out my CarDomain page my car has them, they are a perfect drop IMHO!

The weather here has pretty much sucked most the summer so I haven't had a chance to make it out to the strip yet.

Can you give me details on the strip you go to?
I'd make the trip up to edmonton if its a decent enough strip.
I've never been to a strip before either, and If my knowledge serves me correctly, Race city in Calgary is closed down

Here's the site for the strip: Castrol Raceway I've only lived in Edmonton for a couple years and last fall was when I finally got my car from Regina to here. I've been out there to watch a drift race and the venue seems pretty decent. They have street legals every Friday night and it's only $25 to race and $10 for people wanting to watch, so not too bad. I've been to SIR in Saskatoon once and it was a good time!
