Help 351 clutch problems

I have an 84 with a 351w, world class 5 sp, and had some clutch problems. I bought a new ford racing clutch and preceeded to install. Found that the old thow out bearing had failed. anyway put the new clutch in and cant get it ajusted righ. I have a quick release and firewall adjusters and an adjustable cable? What gives?

As a place to start, put a stock cable back in if you have it still. All aftermarket adjustable ones are crap. I run a steeda quadrant/firewall adjuster on mine with the stock cable and love it. Good luck, keep us posted.

you got just about the same problem as me but i have the stock quadrant and cable with the same clutch
