I dd a 91 5.0 Coupe it has 155k on original motor and trans (auto)
hopped in it today... and hear a really bad noise.. imagine taking a 12ga piece of wire, and attaching it to the driveshaft... that's the sound coming from my transmission, i think...
it doesn't do it when im stopped, and it slows down when im not pushing on the accelerator... but i have no idea what it is... my speedometer has been jumpy since i got it, but at 30 it calms down... i haven't noticed that being worse since the sound majically (or trajically) appeared...
any help? ideas?
