Help - Best Winter Tires

Aside from the fact that I HAVE to drive in bad weather since I don't have another car, VA isn't that bad....

Nothing is really going to help you in a GT.
But def. not Comp T/A's - worst tires ever.

Blizzacks, studded tires, beater cars, sandbags... you guys are crazy... move down here, coldest it gets is what, 40*?

If you dont havea ton of cash I suggest Winterforce tires. They are $50/piece in 16's and they worked awesome on my gf's car last winter. And put a couple bags of sand and some tools to get yourself unstuck if you do spin out.

Snow Driving

I got a set of Goodyear "Ultra Grip Ice" winter tires on all fours. Awesome tires for snow and ice. I went with a skinnier 225 on 16" wheels. I learned to drive in Colorado snow in a '65 Dodge Coronet. Just take it easy and give yourself room between your car and the one in front of you.

Snow! Rain is bad enough. When I first got my old 95 gt which had a 5spd, I lost control and almost flew off an onramp getting on the freeway, correcting myself just in time. Shift low, and tip-toe around those corners. Good winter tires help, but that torque can get u in trouble reguardless.
