Look up broader performance on google. Really cool guy. That's where you get your parts. Tell him the HP level, and he'll tell you what clutches and such. I got all my parts and and machining done there. I finally killed it after 3.5 years. And it died exactly when he said it would. Over 500 ft/lbs, killed the cheap tans clutches in the forward. They are pretty easy. Bought a vid online for a stock rebuild. Second rebuild with a trans brake, so far so good.

How many clutches did you have in the forward? How many in the new build? How much line pressure does the TB VB run? I used a green Transgo spring and stock inner and have 250psi at wot. Seems a little high, but it is working great so far. I'm kind of curious because I put 5 alto's in the forward and 6 alto's in the direct and wonder if I have enough.

oneton, the factory Mustang manual is what I used to rebuild mine and I had never seen the inside of a trans. before. There mention some special tools but I got by with c clamps and a buddy.

Seems a little high for that kit. I think they only go to about 225 or so. I had 6 and 6, but only raybestos tans in the forward, and that's what finally gave out. But that was my fault entirely. I foot braked it in third gear sitting still trying to figure something out one day. BUrned them up
I have the same amount in the rebuild, just upgraded the forward clutched to alto reds. Did the same for the direct, even though the blues looked great. Since I was there....I you ran the reds in both, you'll be good for a long time.
