So i got my car back out of storage yesterday and drove it back out here to college with me. When i first started driving it i noticed that the fuel pump was making a louder noise than it used to....also the first time i got on it th car pullled pretty hard up until like 3k and then kinda just died. It didnt pull hard at all, in fact it might have slowed down!! So my first thought was fuel pump do u have any other suggestions. i did a full tune up a couple weeks ago, clutch is brand new so i know its not any of that stuff. Any suggestions would be great! thanks

Did you take the car for a drive after you did the tuneup? What kind of tuneup? Did you mess with the fuel regulator? Injectors?

It sounds like the fuel pump picked up some gunk or is not working properly anymore. Sometimes they just go. They are easy to change.

Try changing the fuel filter...could have gotten some sediment in it after sitting for a long time.

Well i did a pretty extensive tune up....plugs, wires, cap, rotor, coil, pcv valve & screen, fuel filter, cleaned TB and MAF, cleaned K&N, and changed oil, radiator flush. It was running great in the garage after i did the tune up, but i didnt get a chance to drive it, so i couldnt tell if there was something wrong. I didnt mess with injectors, or regulator, but i did adjust the idle....i cant see how that would effect it though. Thank you for your responses...i found a 255LPH pump on ebay for like 95$ shipped...so i might just do that. Any other suggestions would be awesome...i might also try to pull some codes and see if it throws anything. thanx

Try pulling codes. Maybe it's a bad filter also. Hopefully you didn't mess up the Mass air.

It could be your MAF, mine was bad and anytime I got up past 2500 and 3000, it would just bog like crazy and feel like it was weaker than a Civic. If you have a check engine light, I'd check out the MAF.
