Help: Car misses below 2000 rpm's

When i am just cruising,... not accelerating, my car misses and kind of jumps back and forth a little bit. It only does it in the 0-2000 rmp range. When i am accelerating it is fine, though. I dont know if its the distributor, vaccum leak , plug wires, plugs, bad gas or fuel filter, etc. Someone give me some suggestions please.

your not running platinum plugs are you??? i thought i bought stock replacements, but turns out they were motorcraft platinums.... thats what caused mine.... is there a poping sound through the intake or exhuast?? intake would indicate lean condition. fuel pressure, vacuum leak, fuel filter etc. are all things to check. good luck!

i have regular plugs,... there is kind of a popping sound in the exhaust. i am gonna buy a new distributor cap and rotor tomorrowthen i will try plugs and wires. If it doesnt get better i will do a vaccum test and computer test
