Help chaging valve springs !!!

My car started running like ass the other day so I checked out everything else before I pulled the valve covers. Well come to find out the exhaust spring on #1 cyl is broke.

Is changing the spring hard or what ?

Do I have to fill up the cyl with compressed air so I don't drop the valve or is there a short cut to this ?

Anybody wanna give me a walk-through ?

i'd pick up a chiltons or haynes so you have a step-by-step, but yeah, I think you do fill up the cyc. w/ compressed air...there are attachments for a compressor that goes in the spark plug hole. You can borrow a spring compressor from autozone I believe.

I know about the comp air , I was just looking for a short cut

dont short cut or half ass this! Just use the compressed air trick and get it done with.
