Help changin purge solenoid & thermister probe

Yep. I replaced the purge solenoid last year on mine.
What year is your car? A Mustang GT, I presume since you're here?
Check those hoses first. There's a hose that comes out of the back of the upper intake plenum and goes to the purge solenoid which should be near the heater hoses at the back of the motor on the passenger side. From there it goes to the purge valve near the fenderwell and then it goes inside the fender to the cannister which can be accessed by removing the fender liner in the wheelwell. They probably could stand to be replaced, even if you don't find blockage or a pinched or collapsed hose - be sure to use hose that's fuel line rated.
See if you find anything there and look at the solenoid and valve next if the hoses are OK. The solenoid is a pretty common failure.
