Im taking my '94 to the machine shop tomorrow to have a rebuild done. I have a good idea of what I need to complete this, but would like some opinions on some parts to use. As of right now, these are the parts that I have and am going to use:
1. Edelbrock Performer intakes
2. Ported/Polished gt40ps
3. E-Cam
4. FRPP 30# injectors-will these be enough for my s-trim?

Im throwing a vortech s-trim at the car in about a month...so....Im thinking about speedpro plasma moly rings, speedpro main bearings and rod bearings. I need help deciding which of the following to buy:

1. Gasket kit-something that will hold about 8psi
2. ARP hardware-what all should i buy?
3. Forged pistons-brand?

Anything else that I forgot, please feel free to mention. I havent gotten alot of response on this subject in other forums but I was told by someone that you all are really into "tech" and I should give it a shot. Thanks

Well i personally would say to get a different cam. Just not a big fan of e-cams. If you use it, do yourself a favor and degree it in.

Only thing i know enough to speak about is that the gasket kit will only hold as well as the tune. You could go all out and buy cometic head gaskets. But i have been reading on turbomustangs that felpro 1088, i think are the part numbers, are very good. Just do a search and you should find it. Also, hardcore50 is a MUCH better place for real "tech" advice. There are many more business ownders, racers, cam grinders, etc lurking around over there then here.

Just a FYI.

My brother has a similar combo except for an 8lb paxton instead of Vortech. He got 365 rwhp and 380 rwtq from it. He has a '92 GT. Ive heard that a Steeda #19 is a better blower cam than the E-303,

For your other questions, I'd definately get the ARP bolts for added security. If you are doing a complete rebuild than go with forged (better for yhe blower). As for the springs, were than changed when the e-cam was installed? Are you having issues with valve float?

I think he is referring to ARP rod and headbolts.

Summit racing is your friend

They make a kit, what gaskets are included i dont know. Go to turbomustangs or hardcore or another place and search under the blower forum.

Im telling you because i have bought a kit from them for my 302 and 351. They have felpro kits, ford racing kits, trickflow kits. And all the gaskets individually. Unless its something special...summit will most likely have it.

Quit smoking? Good. Now go get your eyes checked! lol j/k man
