Help Deciding On Hood

Just so you are aware too, cervini's sells thier hoods at alot of mustang events, they sell them cheaper, no tax, and no shipping. According to them way back when i got mine, they don't bring 1.5's to the shows because nobody wants them, so i asked them to bring one to E town and they did.

That might be due to the fact that, when you've got a bunch of hoods off the cars just laying around on the ground at the vendor's booth like they always do, the 1.5" hoods look pretty much like stock height, and only the 3" hoods look like they have any kind of a "cowl" to them at all. I wonder how many people who snapped up those hoods got home, threw 'em on, sat in the car, and were suddenly like, "Ummm ... hmmm. This is kinda ... big."

Good point, though, the vendor displays at shows (like the World Ford Challenge) are usually the best deal on anything from Cervini's ... or most any other vendor, for that matter. Scored my Violator mufflers for $80 a PAIR at the last one I attended. :nice: Just be sure to bring a pickup truck or station wagon to haul that sucker home, or drive your 'Stang hood-less to the event if you plan on throwing it right onto the car right then and there. :)
