help dont know wats wrong

i washed my engine bay about a month ago and now i keep seeing my battery light on in my dash.
yesterday i had the battery replaced and the altenator tested, everything was supposed to be ok. later on that night my in dash shut off my light when real dim and eventually the car shut off.

the next day when i tried to start it , it cranked right up

does anybody know wat could be wrong i plug it up to the comp but it didnt spit out any codes

Re-test your alternator. Esp for AC ripple. Re-check the electrical terminals to the alternator. Are the clean? Are they dry?

Check all of your battery terminals. Are they CLEAN and TIGHT? Is the top of the battery CLEAN? Is the battery fully charged?

The dash light comes on when ever the voltage is too low/high. However, note that the alternator can NOT function without a STRONG battery. So how old is the battery?

Bottom line, today's car will not run right without a strong alternator and battery. The days of jump starting cars with totally dead batteries are over.

Don't pressure wash the engine.
