Guys changed my mind, think i will add a procharger or similar so with that in mind, my fresh built 5.0 with: comp cams timing chain, B303 cam, high volume oil pump, headers, ported and decked heads.....ok what size maf, throttle body, injectors and what intake for torque and low to midrange response.

Based off of your desires above, I would get the Edelbrock Performer 5.0 or a GT-40 style intake. The GT-40 type intakes and all their derivatives, which include the Tubular FRPP GT-40, the 1993 Cobra, and Explorer 5.0 intakes, probably have the best low rpm torque numbers of any intake. The Performer also has great low speed torque and great throttle response. I think a major benefit of the Performer is that it has a removable cover plate so you can port the upper intake easier without the need to cut the upper intake in half.

If I were in your shoes, running a blower, I would get the Performer and have the lower ported by Tmoss Porting (do a web search if you don't already know who he is) to match your heads, and see if he can do the upper too. If not, get a good machine/speed shop local to you to port the upper. The upper on the performer is already machined for a 70mm throttle body, and that is the size I would use. Some people might recommend going to a 75mm, which may not hurt since you will have a supercharger. You will need to machine the upper intake throttle opening on the edelbrock to accept anything bigger than 70mm. The GT-40 type intakes come from the factory ready to accept a 65mm throttle body, you will need to machine them for anything bigger than 65mm.

As far as a MAF, I would contact PMAS (Professional Mass Airflow Systems) and specify all the details of your setup to them. They will likely set you up with an MAF custom tuned to your application I would guess somewhere in the ballpark of 80mm, but that's up to them and you to decide.

Injector and fuel pump size will be dictated by the specific blower and its instructions that you end up deciding on. Make sure you know that info before ordering your MAF.

jt's suggestions are excellent, but if your looking for the most low-mid range, a ported stock intake will make more than any other on your heads. If you see going to better heads in the not too distant future, I'd use a Performer/GT40 style and run them stock until a head upgrade.

Yeah - what they said. If your interested in some dyno numbers with a ported GT-40 style (for if and when you upgrade heads), see my sig.

BTW - where at in Ohio?
