Just installed one of the older Autometer electric fuel pressure gauges (one with the black box). The sensor is installed on a Tee with an analog gauge. The analog gauge moves when I adjust the FPR. The electric gauge stays up around 100lbs.

Any idea why the electric gauge would read so high and what might be wrong with it?

My geuss would be a bad ground. I'm not sure though. It depends on how the electric gauge works. Does the sending unit have one wire or more coming from it?

And your guess was right-on. The screw was loose. Hopefully it will also solve my stereo noise problem -- since that is where the stereo was grounded also

Thanks!!!
