hey guys, yesterday i had my intake manifold, strut brace, and everyother damn thing off to paint and i figured to change the fpr at that time aswell. the issue is that my dad was in a huge rush for me to move my car this morning so i rushed it all, and now the fuel rail mount is stripped. i can't bolt the fpr on tight enough, it's just spitting fuel. what should i do, tap the whole, nut n bolt? and also did u bbk guys use the little gasket when you installed yours. the gasket is like the fpr insert gaskets on fox body's. thanks alot

aeromotive....

Find the right size tap, and retap the hole. Also replace the bolt with a brand new grade 8 bolt, if possible. I don't know the size off hand.

But you should be able to find a tap to match.

um......aeromotive's are known for having to be rebuilt. The BBK regulator is a good piece, I've never had a problem with it. Also, yes you need to reuse the little black rubber gasket that is under the stocker.

thanks guys. i just got a slightly bigger tap, and put a new metric screw in with a bolt under it, to give it extra insurance. i've got a bbk on my other stang and it's been great, i've heard about aeromotives tho, til i see i need to change, i'm gonna stick with the bbk. what pressure should i set it to? 94 cobra, full exhaust(offroad x), cai, underdrives, gears, pro-m, TB, and i run 93 oct. thanks
