Its ok im still a ford guy i just recently bought an 83 yamaha Maxim 550 i have always wanted a bike so i got one. but now that i got your attention has anyone ever ran those el glow gauges. i saw an article on them in the new 5.0 mag and i think they look kinda cool but i want opinions on them before i dump money

I have a set of "reverse indiglos" in my TC, I like em and they look nice...the bad part about them is that you have to leave light bulbs in your instrument cluster or else you can't see the odometer or anything at night, and the pointers on the small gauges are hard to see because they don't light up, and you have to turn the lights in the cluster way down or else they show through the indiglo faces and it looks crappy.

ok what if i paint my needles orange they should show then right? any one else try these gauges out?

Doesn't matter what color they are, they still won't be lit up at night!

the gauges im looking at are not reverse glow they are white and the whole thing glows i believe. which is why i said orange it failed to register in my head that you said you got the reverse glow. sorry thats a my bad on me
