I recently did an engine swap and had to use an intake spacer, which made it impossible to put stock hood on the car. I spent $450 to get a fiberglass harwood 2.5" cowl hood, and the piece of crap doesn't fit. I thought harwood was a good brand, but apparently I was way off on that idea. It does not have all of the holes cut, is missing some hardware, and doesn't line up with the car. I was wondering if anyone had first hand experience with a good hood with ALL of the holes cut. (bolt holes, holes for latches and hood prop.) Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
so seeing as how it's still nicer looking I put it back on got everythinbg lined up nice and shes fine. It latches down every time and I have had good luck so far [knocking on wood now]with it not popping open. I've had the car up past 110 MPH easily 30 times since i've owned the car and hood.
