Not sure where these go. Don't have anything to match them. The black one matches with a black plug on the driver side fender, but there is also a plug identical to the one in the picture coming from the car/dash harness that matches the same plug... So I'm not sure.

And in this second picture, my engine harness doesn't have the two plugs that match with these on the injector harness... It also doesnt look like anything was cut or spliced from my harness. Is it something to do with year differences? Engine harness is 92 while injector is 89.

Those plugs are supposed to go together. They are the 10-pin connectors.

Unfortunately the top engine harness looks like it has the 8-pin connectors instead. Are you sure that harness is from a Mustang?

These are what the harness should look like. The injector harness looks correct

Wiring Harness

Hi, the small connectors in the top photo could be couple things. My 89 notch ( which was a 4 cyl ) has one thats not being used at all. One could be for the gauges, power feeds etc.. If they both look like they could mate with another connector along the left side fender, I would look closely at the wiring colors if you don't have a diagram. More than likely the wiring from one will match up. As for the large connectors in the second picture, they are the main connectors for the injection. There should be two corresponding connectors in the main harness from the computer that connect to them. They sit almost dead center of the firewall. If those large connectors are not visible, you need to check in the looming to see if they were cut off.

Thanks for the tips guys. Apparently the engine harness in the first picture is not from a Mustang. Looks like it's from a truck...

I was going to say. Pretty sure the F150 used 8-pin injector harness.
