I was hoping someone would be able to provide me with the Ford OEM part number for this piece I am looking for. I have tried calling the local dealer with no luck. It is for an '04 Mustang GT Convertible.
I am needing to replace the piece that the oil cap screws into. It is black, hard plastic and perhaps 3" long. I am attaching a picture since I am not sure how else to describe it.
The last time I took the car in for an oil change they showed me that this piece isn't really attached any more and needs to be replaced. I tried all of the local auto parts shops and they told me it has to be a dealer. Any information would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.
