Trying to install Eibach pro kit in front. Have old springs out but can not get the new ones in. The part # on the springs themselves are 3510.301 (front) and 3510.302 (rear). The part # on the box is 3510.140. My new springs are about 3/4" shorter than the stock ones. Is this right? I can not get the new springs back into the "cups" where they are supposed to go. I do not have a spring compressor and I don't think I will be able to get one. Stores are closed now and it is easter sunday tomorrow. I need to go back up to school from my parents house sunday night so I need HELP. Any suggestions and are the part #'s right. These new springs seem too close to the stock length.

Make sure your have the right springs on the right end......front ones are huge diameter (beefier) back ones are less beefy. They should fit right into the isolators and into the seats on the frame. Don't freak over the length of the springs either. Keep in mind that the ones you took off have way beyond settled.....the eibachs have not even. When you settle, you'll like the drop. Its not extreme and great for every day driving. You'll drop around 1.5+ inches

you have to work the strut around the wheel well so you can pull the top portion out of the wheel well. They you can use it for the little leverage you will need to push the a arm down a little...its not too hard to do

by the way...this might sound stupid but you need to compress the shock as well.

yamie700:

If you have not done so, please check out Spreadman's excellent spring install article (Tech Articles on this board). The shorter springs should go in easier than the stockers came out. On the fronts, it is helpful to pop the outer tie-rod ends (hammer them out or get a little press from AutoZone (they should be open today/Sunday)).

As for the part numbers, maybe the number on the box is for the entire kit (4 springs)?
