Loud whistling sound after installing bullitt intake. The sound is near the alternator, so thinking it was the alternator I replaced it and still same sound. I have a Procharger P1SC so its real hard to tell where the whistling is coming from. Its sounds like its around the supercharger and alternator but then again the intake sits behind them. I didnt have any bad pulleys or tensioner before the install so i really doubt they could have gone bad?? When the car idles down the whistling is quieter but once I rev the engine the whistling gets really loud. How could I tell if there is maybe a leak between the block and intake. I just finished the intake swap and havent driven the car yet.......what should I look for?? any ideas??

spray butane/propane in the area of the whistle. If you have a vacuum leak the butane will cause the engine RPM to rise.
Are you sure you're not just hearing the blower????

rev the car up.. if your boost gauge doesnt show your typical amount of boost you normally see at a certain RPM, then the intakes leaking and leaking off the boost.. easiest way to do it. And yes, your intake may have changed the sound of the supercharger slightly, or your being ocd about it lol
