I need a .60/.63 Turbocoupe T3 Turbo, water cooled, and with a compressor housing for non intercooled cars. I do not want anything that needs a rebuild anytime soon.

My current turbo has shaft play and the front oil seal is leaking. I can trade my current turbo as a core, if you'd like, to knock the price down for me.

Evergreen turbo completely rebuilt mine for 345.. You could do that and never have to worry about it again, Not sure how much you wanna spend though.

I did. I threw it out here as well.
I have about $125 to spend. I need it in the next 3 weeks before I move. I'd have more to spend if I wasn't moving but then I wouldn't rally need the car to be running immediately.

I was looking through my spare turbos and found just what you need. I've got a damn good T3 "cartridge" that I bought from Paul Leduc a few years ago. I seem to remember him saying it was low mile or something but it's been too long now...Basically, just put your compressor housing and exhaust housing on this cartridge.

I was going to use it to put together a "bad" turbo I had and sell it on ebay...haven't got around to it it.

It's not a bamabev cartridge, I'll let you have it for 100 shipped to your door.

Do I need any gaskets or other parts to do that?

Are you sure you don't actually have a oil feed or return problem? A partially clogged return line will make turbos smoke no matter their condition...

.60/.63 turbos aren't that uncommon on fleabay. Even a .42/.48 if you're really desperate. People seem to overpay for them, though ($130 for a used T3 is way too much). I have one off a Merkur, but some dummy ran it without an air filter so the compressor wheel is junk. I rigged together a T3/T4 with the rest.....

The oil return line is fine. The turbo ran good up until I fixed my miss condition. As soon as I hit 15 psi, smoke! But only for a few seconds after I let off from full boosting. Any other time it was fine. Now it smokes horrible at idle but not while cruising.
