i have the chance to buy a 331 stroker kit on the cheap and i want to know what sort of things to expect to replace or upgrade. i had planned on the usual stuff, like oil pump, water pump, hoses, ignition stuff, etc. will i need different injectors? different maf, fuel pump? i already have an explorer upper, ported lower and mildly ported gt40 heads. long tube headers, h pipe, etc. some of you guys that have been there, done that-let me knwo what i am missing. thanks
also what off the shelf cam would be good? i'm tempted to go with a custom grind but if someone knows of a good ots cam, let me know.
oh by the way, i'll probably spray this thing a little. the pistons on the kit are forged and coated mahle 10.0 to 1 w/64cc, so should be about 10.2 w/gt40heads.
