My current considerations are either brake upgrades or new wheel/tire (18")

Any recommendations for brake upgrades? I'm looking at Cobra brakes right now but still not sure if I should upgrade the rears as well.
Will these fit 18" wheels? The note reads, "This kit requires the use of 17" wheels to clear the calipers."
Ford Racing Red 10th Anniversary Cobra Brake Upgrade Kit (Front Only) at AmericanMuscle.com - Free Shipping!

For wheel/tire, I decided to go with black FR500 (2)18x9/(2)18x10, but still undecided about the tires. What do you guys think of 265/35/18 out front and 295/35/18 out back?

OR

I can forget about everything right now and save up for Kenne Bell TS Supercharger (plan to purchase in spring '09)

Any other mods you guys would like to suggest?

Nice link, are those rotors 13"? I was searching around as well, but you beat me by $70

Anyways, would those fit the 18" FR500 wheels I mentioned? I'm still new to brakes. I'll probably upgrade the rear further down the road.

Yea those guys are pretty cheap. That way you can have more left over for the wheels/tires and can have more time to save for the KB

I think that's where I bought my 4.10 and aluminum DS from 4 years ago...

So, you guys don't have any suggestions for other mods I should be doing before the big KB upgrade?

You've already got some decent mods...

Take a break... step away from the Mustang.

Take a trip to Vegas and have a party weekend.

Yeah, I would do the brakes and some more suspension/chasis goodies. K-memeber brace and strut tower brace would help.
And yes the brakes will fit a 18" wheel. When they say needs a 17" wheel to clear that meens 17" OR LARGER.

Well the last time I put a mod in the car was 4.5 years ago when I started college. Now that I graduated (working atm), it's time to get busy again.

I'd probably go with cobra brakes kit and upper control arms for now... them tires are freakin' expensive as hell

Go for the Cobra brakes. They were one of the best mods I did from a Bang for the $$$ standpoint.

Easy enough to do the swap yourself, cost me $300 or $400 (can't remember.) I warped front rotors left and right until I did the swap. Went 2 years without a hiccup before I sold the car. Never did brake work again. I left the rear brakes stock.
