Yeah, it's weird. Title's still in my name, and so is the insurance - I just added her name as an "OR" to the title and added her as an approved driver on insurance so she doesn't have to fork over a bunch on insurance premiums per month. (Her having only had a U.S. driver's license for a little over a year would = mondo money. They don't care how long she drove beforehand in Australia ... well, unless they're worried that she's used to driving on the wrong side of the road...

)
Anyway, back to the mufflers ... yeah, now that you mention it, they do look a lot like OEM stuff. But didn't the factory muffs have hangers on the back like the Dynomaxes, too? Chances are, he's got a set of OEM-style no-name brand "turbo" REPLACEMENT muffs - maybe not Thrush or Raptors, but something kinda similar in the under-$20 apiece range. I'm thinking FRPP at best, or maybe ... MAYBE some universal-fit Dynomax Super Turbos.
Most of the decent performance brands seem to have stopped using those rolled-seam cases a long time back, and usually they now have smooth welded seams like Flowmaster, Hooker, Pypes, Spintech, MAC, etc.
So, let me change my vote to Walker "turbo" universal 2.5" offset/offset mufflers.
