All above is good advice.
I too had a head gasket problem, but no overheating, no milkshake, however small carbon specks in the coolant lots of small bubbles in coolant reservoir.
A leakdown test as describe above pinpointed the exact cylinder, #3 wouldn't hold more than 40psi
Highly recommend the leak down test and if in fact it is a head gasket sealing problem, that the heads are checked by a machine shop
