Help me install a cobra intake. I have pictures.

I have a new GT40 lower and cobra upper that I am about ready to mount but I need a little help identifying the openings on the intake. I have marked the openings with numbers. If anyone can help I would appreciate it. I have never torn down a 5.0 and would like to understand it before I do.

Like a puzzle huh? I'll give you one piece, #3 is the PCV plug.

Those are all vacuum nipples except for the EGR location. Simply hook up what you need to and plug the rest. Brakes, A/C, EGR, Vapor recovery and PCV all use vacuum.

But what about #2 and #8, they are just threaded holes. Is there something that threads into them? Or, should I just find some 1/2 npt plugs for those holes? I know there are people that take these intakes off all the time. So please give more help.

i believe 8 goes to your pcv valve. but i could be wrong. ill have to take a look at mine when i get a chance.

just put it on the same way you took the stocker off if you still have it in the car

1: is the vac line to your charcoal canister
2:
6: goes to the fuel pressure reg
7: goes to the vacume tree
8: goes to the PVC
I'm not sure were 2 goes, mine is a 93. I hope that this helps.
