ARP Assembly Lube - ARP-100-9903
ARP Thread Sealer - ARP-100-9904
ARP Head Bolts - ARP-154-3601
ARP Starter Bolt Kit - ARP-450-3501
ARP Flywheel Bolts - ARP-100-2801

These all worked on my car (93 5.0L)...

I would like for those who have used ARP (or similar bolts) to post the part numbers and for what application they go on (like which head or particular car). I'm really curious to know the motor mount part # for ARP and maybe some driveshaft bolts, etc...etc.

Head studs would be nice as well and label for which size hole they go thru (ex: 7/16 or 1/2) etc...

Just some thoughts...please help if you have used them :nice:

Some more thoughts: Intake bolts, distributor hold down bolts, harmonic balancer bolts, etc...

I will compile a list and I can then post the list to make finding the right bolts easy when a question is asked...

Just make sure the info is accurate and you put what you used it on, we don't want anybody wasting time and money on bolts that won't work :p

Thanks :nice:

They make a combination moly lube/thread sealer - don't know the number, but I've bought 2 tubes of it. Is that different from your thread sealer # above, i.e. - a 'third' assembly product?

Also, if you're gonna include front cover/water pump fasteners, need to be real sure people are model specific. The 94/5's/t'birds/Cougars/Explorer/Mountaineers take some different length fasteners in that area.

That shows in the pic Assembly lube and thread sealer  It says sold individually...

http://store.summitracing.com/defau...earchinresults=false&N=0&target=egnsearch.asp

That shows just Thread Sealer in the pack...and it is a bit more expensive "alone" than the assembly lube/sealer supposed combo. I'm fairly certain that the top Assembly Lube number is just that, assembly lube. The pic is just there that shows both

Yeah on the water pump bolts...I was trying to be more specific with the mustang models since those are most frequented here :)

So try to keep these Mustang specific (and if they happen to work with other models then that is a :nice: ).

So be 302/Mustang specific if possible...

Water pump bolt part numbers and a cam bolt number would be nice...

James - The header bolt number is good...bring more like those on:nice: I try to search for them on summit and that part number didn't work "ST8-8913". The number looks familiar because I bought some Stage 8's for my AFR heads but I think I had to get the 3/4" long length (try to include the length as well and the heads used on like you did...). Edit http://store.summitracing.com/defau...earchinresults=false&N=0&target=egnsearch.asp That is for the header bolts you tried to put down. I just replaced the "8" with "G" and those are the 3/4in deep threads that I used on my AFR 165's with Mac Equal Lengths (thick flange).

Also what head studs are those for? 302 heads? 7/16? 1/2? I'm assuming 7/16"?

Good stuff!

Keep them coming...

Sorry about the stage 8 mix up...that's the part number it shows on my receipt from my local performance shop

The head studs are for 302 stock-type heads. Not sure of the size, but studs for aluminum heads appear to be part number ARP-154-4005 and the Edelbrock Performer RPM heads take ARP-235-4018 (some sort of kit) both from the summit catalog.

David...are those the head bolts you have with your AFR's? Putting mine on...and not sure if I got the right ones...

Yeah man, that was the headbolts I used on my AFR's (emission/58cc)... :nice:

They are 7/16"...

Thanks for the part number Grn92Lx...

Grn92Lx - I think what I am going to have to do is "over time" make some seperate threads about single/double part numbers because it doesn't appear these threads do to well...:p

5spd GT,this is kinda of confusing.
Can you please put the bolt/studs size (i.e. 3/8,1/2,5/8,etc.) and if you can thread pitch and length.

This isn't a "sticky"...that isn't the plan. I'm going to compile these in a list later...but this is more information for me so I can do that.

The head bolts I listed in the first post are 7/16...

I'm doing this later...I'm just wanting to get part numbers right now...this isn't supposed to be for someone to look here and know which one to get...

And stop using Summit :p !

Go here: www.arp-bolts.com

I have went to their site before and didn't find informative enough for what I need...I want some personal confirmations...

I have bought ARP bolts (pressure plate bolts as the most recent) because the information looked like it matched and I was told by another member that those are the ones...and guess what...I got them and they didn't work :) Hence: The reason for the thread...I want personal confirmation that they have worked for them...

Many 302's are different when referring to what bolt/studs go on them or are for that specified vehicle.

So,you use ARP/Stage 8/Mildon,etc. for ALL your bolts?

I have used ARP, Stage 8, and a couple summit bolt kits (and factory bolts from the dealership or 50resto)...so I go pretty broad with them. I consider ARP the best in their class and I think it would be nice to know all the part numbers for "our" 302's...and make a useful list...

I have summit intake bolts right now...they work good;)

Yah, too bad more guys don't respond since this thread has potential to be extremely helpful.

Its helping me as i'm compiling a list of bolts and gaskets I need right now for my 347 build-up.

Yeah I know it, my goal will be to get a list of all the gaskets (part numbers) and replacement/aftermarket bolts for our cars...that would be nice...but noone seems to know. I think I'm just going to make seperate threads about them individually here and the corral to further the "goal"
