Help Me Pick a cam

I'm buliding a carbed 5.0 for my 66 coupe, and I'm looking for a decent, inexpensive street cam (under $200).

Here are the specs
'87 5.0 (non-HO rolller)
Forged pistons (final 9.6:1 compression)
Ported 351W heads milled to 58cc
Wieland Stealth Intake
Edelbrock 600
Tri-y headers (1 5/8" primaries)

Trac-Lok 8" and 3.50 gears.
T5 w\short shifter
15x7 wheels

What cam would you get? I was thinking of the E, F, or TFS1
EDIT: If I can't find a suitable cam, I'll just use an HO cam

With the 600cfm carb, maybe a .500/.500 lift cam with 1.6 rockers? Is it a 87HO block with a roller cam? If so just put some 1.7 rockers on your heads and it will make some nice power stock. The stock cam can bring you to the 400HP range (providing better heads and carb...) with the 1.7 rocker arm ratio.

I'm going with a 230/230 durr @ 050 and .512/.512 cam but with 1.7 rockers so I will have .544/.544 of lift, a 650 carb, RPM performer heads, domed pistons 11.04 compression and my combo makes 437HP on desktop dyno

I am very happy with the TFS stg 1 in my setup. It has a nice, lopey idle and pulls excellent from 2500-6000. Here are the specs.TFS Stage 1,2, and 3

You heads are a restriction. Upper RPM's will be limited by them. The B303 with 1.7's will give a real nice sound and give you a lift of .512". The B303's are about $150. You can also go with the TF Stage 1. It's a bit cheaper and will also give excellent results.

Also look into the Comp Cams extreme Energy. They are cutting edge 5.0 roller cams, but a little over the $200 limit you set.

Any E, F or B Ford cam or the TF1 cam will work very well. (that's helps right ) Out of your list, I'd do the TF1 with 1.6 rockers.

My brother has a TF2 he'd sell pretty cheap. I can find out what he wants for it if your interested. It's new/un-used. He bought it for a project and then the project changed and he needed more cam. If anyone wants to know more, PM me.

i'd like to disagree, the flow on those heads are very close to stock GT-40 heads and being ported they should compliment the combo well....

Car Craft did a build up a few months ago using a stock 5.0 roller cam, 1.7 rockers and AFR 165cc intake runner heads on a stock 5.0 shortblock and it made 405 HP at the crank. They used a Performer RPM and a 650 Holley. That's pretty good for a production cam. My fuelie motor has an E-303 and I like the mid-range it makes. It's slightly lopey at idle, brakes work fine.

I would like to know more about this. Do you know what issue it was in?
