Hey guys i need to find out what cam i need for my setup and what Roller rockers.... 1.6 or 1.7? Would the FRPP "E" Cam work? I need a cam i can just buy and not have custom made.

Also what Oil pan do you rec.? or should i just leave the stock?

Also i'm in the middle of doing my engine and what else do you think i need to replace while doing this? I got the replacement push rods and timing chain, anything else?

GT-40 Intake
FRPP 24 lb injects

you will need thermactor plugs for your heads.
How did you get pushrods already if you dont know the correct size you need yet

I'm sure he got stock replacement pushrods. I use 6.250", and stock is 6.272" if I recall. I have a custom cam, .560 lift so the pushrod was bound to be a bit short.

If you use the E cam, I'm sure the stock pushrods will be fine. Keep the 1.6RR's, don't get 1.7's unless your keeping stock cam in my opinion.

Reuse your stock oil pan and get a new oil pump of course, they run around $20.

Make sure you cover all your gaskets:

Oil pan gasket
Timing Cover gasket
Water pump gasket
Headgasket
Intake gasket
Thermostat gasket
Etc....

Good Luck!
