Help me pick a suspension...Please

Ok, so I'm starting to plan my suspension and I am looking for any input I can get from you guys to help. I had a 98 with Tokico's and Steeda Sports, that hit a little to hard for me, but it was to hot a setup. I am leaning twords the H&R springs, but strut/shock choice is tuff, Konie...Illumina's.....Bilstein? To many choices. Has anyone ever run that Bilstein BTS system? I am going to avoid Eibach, to many bad stories about sagging.

What are those stories you've heard about Eibach?

I think someone posted once about their Eibachs sagging and now it keeps getting repeated over and over by people that don't even have them.

I am also shopping for springs right now and think I am going to try the BBK progressives with Mach1 Tokicos for my vert. Not many people have the BBK's, but everything I have heard has been very positive about them.

if you thought the ride was a little rough with the steedas and tokicos, i'd get the bilstines and HR Race. I'd be getting that if money permitted.

Sorry to steal your post, but I have some suspension questions too

Can anyone tell me, is it true that if you change the springs on your car. You always need to put on cc plates, and change the struts and shocks? I bought my Eibachs last month, but should I have bought those things too?

I just got exactly that, with the "Cobra R" valved Bilsteins. This weekend I put the front parts on and they feel great. The springs are stiffer than the FR C springs, but somehow with the bilsteins the ride is not harsh.

I will be putting an IRS with the rest of the H&Rs and bilsteins in next weekend. I'll post an update then.

So far, so good

I like my tokico setup the adjustability is well appreciated.

The problem is, that everyone likes the car to ride a different way. To some, Tokico's and sport springs are perfect, while to some it may be too hard or too soft.

Even if you go adjustable, most adjustable dampers are only adjustable in rebound or rebound, not both.

This is my gig, and what I've been doing full time for over 4 years is suspension development. I'll work with anyone who PM's me on trying to develop a suspension plan.

hotchkis tvs - handling, stance, and looks in a single solution, just add struts and shocks of your choice and you've got WAY more suspsension than 95% of folks are capable of driving
