im making in the 400's for both hp and tq as of now and im getting a new tranny... i dont know if i want a tko 500 or for another 100 bucks get the 600 but have to order a new clutch because the input shaft is 26spline on the 600.. also the gear ratios are different and the 500's are steaper but with the 600 i can get the .82 road race 5th gear... basically i think i may like the 1-4 gear ratios of the 500 but i may like the .82 5th gear i could get in the 600 , and with the 500 i can use my spec st3 clutch i already have... but for another 100 bucks ill have the 600 and be able to hold more power in the future.. and for some reason the i may like .82... lets hear some opinions

tko500......................tko 600
3.27.........................2.87
1.98.........................1.89
1.34.........................1.28
1.00.........................1.00
.68............................64 or .82

If it sees ANY highway miles then I would go with the .64 od. With 3.73s and the .84 I bet it would be screaming on the highway.

But if it is an open track car that barely sees any highway miles and is trailered to the track the go for the .82. The get up and go with that gear is probably real nice.

And I would go tko600 for sure. Someday you may get a built shortblock so you can throw more boost at it and you don't want to spend 2 grand on a tranny that wont support your power goals.
