Where have you been? Taurus has been doing this for a few years with their Judge lineup. Heck, there was a smaller off-brand company that had a .410/45 Colt revolver back in the '90s too. While it's not for CC, I'd like a Taurus Raging Judge, shoots 2.5" and 3" .410, 45 Colt, and .454 Casull!

I am 6'6" and I daily carry a LCP. I do carry a G19 when I am wearing enough clothimg to conceal it.

Although I have been eyeballing the sig 1911 in .380
But the price is the hangup.

I kinda like the LCP .380. Nice and small and hides well. I don't have girly hands, but it fits fine for me.

My buddy has both a 1911 and LCP. The 1911 is just too damn big. In the summer time, i wear t-shirts and just couldn't do a 1911. the LCP fits nicely just about anywhere. I kinda liked it a lot.

I'm thinking of getting a Sig 1911 next. I'm a big Sig fan, and a 1911 fan. I figure i'd combine them. If i buy a Colt...it would NEED to be a WW2-era Colt 1911.

Would I carry it? don't think so. Never found a need as i tend to not accociate around area where shady people flock to. I might get a .380 one day though. Kinda liked how small and compact it was

If SHTF...i'm taking my AR.

I'm a moderator in another section so I can't fix it.

5L5, I was going to try to sell you my LCP. I have a 1911 which I absolutely love, nothing shoots better than that. The H&K USP Compact .45 is really close though but again, $1000 gun I'd hate to carry in fear I'd drop it or leave it behind God forbid.

It's all about the holster & belt. I'm 6'2 - 230 & my full size 1911 disappears on me.

Yeah, I know. When you let your guard down is when things happen quick.

I haven't ruled it out. Need a good handgun first. Then we'll go from there.

I'd say #2, but that's me.

My daily carry is a Glock 19.

i hear a lot off ppl saying oh i don't wanna pack my 1911 i may drop it or scratch it....i bought a kimber 1911 a little over 2 years ago, i no longer carry it daily but i wouldn't care one bit to do so..it has scratches i have dropped it and i have had it on my side while riding ATV's and playing in the mudd.....to me a gun that im afraid of carrying is a gun i do not need...1911's are heavy chunks of steel i promise a couple scratches won't affect it's firing ability.

I'll end up buying a springer 1911 just so i don't have to pay the extra $$ for a kimber. If i would get a kimber it would be the damn basic model though...i could live with that. Matte black and then upgrade to night sights later

Yeah I don't get the concern about dropping it? If you drop it you need a better holster. I can't even fathom mine falling out unless I were doing 20 backflips.

The Kimber 1911 is great and really good looking but at $1250-$1600 is crazy priced. Check gunbroker.com for a used deal, let someone else take a bath on the new car smell.

Was watching "Burn Notice" last night and noticed they like the Heckler & Koch stuff. Saw my gun a bunch of times during the show.

I'll be looking for this Sig at the show. My best friend raves about the P220 and P220 Elite (white). I've never owned a Sig, in fact haven't even shot one.
