got a problem, need help quick, im not a wiring guy or guru...

so i need to get the car running smoothly with a new MASS AIR EFI computer.

it was wired to the ON KEY position, and turns on properly... but i need it to be working WITH the computer as it was setup previously for Speed Density/CARB style.

thanks a lot.

I need this help quickly!

converting a car to mass air from speed density shouldn't change any fuel pump wiring; you should just have to hook up one wire for the fuel pump monitor. i noticed you said speed density/carb? speed density is still EFI. did this car previously have an electric in tank fuel pump?

See http://www.autozone.com/images/cds/gif/large/0900823d8019595f.gif

The computer has a Tan/Lt Green wire from the fuel pump relay coil to pin 22 on the computer. It has a Pink/Black wire from the the fuel pump relay power to the fuel pump to pin 19 on the computer.

See http://www.stangnet.com/tech/maf/massairconversion.html also for more Mass air conversion help.
