Help me please....

I used to have an 01 GT 5 Speed and now I have an 00 GT 5 Speed.....

Here's my issue, I don't remember the 01 turning as high of RPMs as this 00.

at 62-65 MPH im turning like 2500 RPMs and at 70-72 MPH I'm at 3000... I can't find a calculater that can let me know what gears I have. this car pulls harder than the other 01 I had. Thanks guys

I punched in the numbers over on an internet calculator from another popular mustang forum:p and it came out to a 4.8XXXX ratio. I'm not sure how accurate that is though. I think 4.10's or 4.30's is probably right.

You could always jack the car up and put it on stands and then spin the wheel one time and count how many times the driveshaft goes around. That would give you a good estimate of what is in there.

4.10's or 3.90's are possible...try to be a bit more accurate when you do the test to see which one...

More than likely it is 4.10's...they are a more widely distributed gear.

You could just pull of the cover and count teeth, or look at the serial number, many end (or have written into the gear somewhere) the gear ratios or number of teeth. That way you'll know for sure, all it will cost you is some posi gear lube and a tube of silicone.
BTW here's another calc so you can compare with the others.
