If you want to run 9" wide rims do not order 94 and up axles. They are 3/4" longer than foxbody axles. You'll have to order foxbody length 5-lug axles.

Ok, so I could still buy the axles from the ranger and aerostar? That is if I want 9" rims. The writeup above has 8" Bullitt. I'll have to research later.

bad news for me.

I'll have to go SN95.

Not Bad News for you at all, SN95 Brakes are Superior to the other choices. You can also use 9" wide rear wheels with 94-98 Axles if your wheel backspace is 6.42"

I have done two conversions My first one i didnt shop around I just bought the stuff off ebay and payed a little bit more.

90GT I spent:
$289-calipers, rotors, spindles from a 95GT
$130-5-lug axles

89LX I spent:
$220-shipped calipers, rotors, spindles, new hoses off a 94GT
$110-5-lug axles

Both I bought ranger 9 inch drums for 32.99 a peice.
Axle lube-10$

400-500$ per conversion roughly give or take a few odds and ends.

edit*-corral.net is your friend I bought the stuff from another member be sure to check the classified feedback forums and do a little research you will find what you need.

This list seems to be alot simplier than the list given through the link above. Why replace the brake booster or go to the 3-2 conversion kit? Is this only the case if a person is replacing the back brakes with rotors?

Do the Booster and M/C changes so you dont end up in an accident.

I peiced my kit together. It's a j/y 2300K kit basically.

'95 Spindles = $100
'95 Cobra rotors = used $25 + $10 to have turned
'98 Cobra calipers = $150 + $40 for rebuild kit
Cobra dust shields = $15
99+ Cobra brake hoses = $25
Pass side brake hose adpater = $3
Pads = $50

Front total = $418

Rear SN95 axles = free from friend
2300M Cobra disk kit = $180
GT rear calipers, brackets and anti-moans = $100
Sold GT brackets and anti-moans = +$75
Rear brake hoses = $40
Rear brake line adapters = $5
Pads = $30

Rear = $280

Booster/MC

'95 v6 booster/MC = $25 from ebay
FMS prop valve plug = $9
3-2 conversion kit = $25
adjust. prop valve = $40
fluid = $20

total = $119

Total Cost = $817 (roughly)

I spread this out over a few years of gathering parts.

I don't have an e-brake yet. should be nothing more than a pair of cables and a weld to my stock handle.
