I am trying my best. I obviously not a pro. Here are some more pics backlash is .009 just like you wanted it still the same .034 shim under threat pinion.

Out of all the pics in this whole silly thread which one do you like best. I am going to pick it and go with it.

So these two pics is what I went with. Out the new bearing on and I think it was a touch thicker. I am pretty happy with it. Took the car for a drive and doesn't make any noise, maybe a touch on coasting but It is probably just in my head. Included a pic of my car also

Since it was only the one bearing I tried the oven trick like Hoopty mentioned. Put it in the toaster oven outside for 20 minutes at 250 and when I took it out the bearing just about slide on with any tapping at all. Used a small piece of pvc and it only took a small tap to get it down the rest of the way. I wore safety glasses because someone said that pvc can shatter.

I learned a ton and would be way quicker with it next time.

After my gear install I have a hint of whining when I let off the gas and let the RPMs wind down while coasting. The whine goes away during acceleration or if I put it in neutral or push in the clutch and coast. The guy that installed them said he'd re-shim it again for free. I may as well learn to do it my dang self like you did.
