I want to remove the trim piece below the windshield. The one that has the wiper blades in it. Its faded and I want to repaint it. Anyone know exactly how to do this? Thanks for you help.

There are like 5 or 6 bolts under the hood that needs to be removed, make sure you use trim paint when you paint them, looks original, after painting that piece youll want to do all your trim.

yep i just painted mine along with my mirrors.......i used bumper and trim paint and they look awesome......like he said above, there are 6(i think)bolts under the hood remove those, then pull off the rubber strip and the 2 pieces will seperate and come right off....oh yeah remove your wiper arms first....once you pull the peice up(its just snapped on with clips just pull it up)you'll have to pop out the washer nozzles as well..

Had to do the same to mine. I used the same black interior dye on it like I was using when I was doing my interior. Looks good.

Before you go and do that...try this stuff.

It worked wonders on mine, and it may help yours too.
