Hey everyone, long time no see. Been on an island working all summer, and I get back next week. I've saved up some cash and my birthday is next month, so I'm looking for advice on what to buy next. It's about $1000.

Car is 03 GT Automatic.

Right now I'm leaning towards an SLP catted X and Loudmouth exhaust. If I go this way, is it better to get MIL eliminators or O2 Sims to replace the rear O2 sensors?

I've also been thinking about suspension. Does anyone know if the Steeda Drag Springs lower the car? My primary emphasis is drag racing but I do enjoy playing in some canyons (Which I drive to school 2 times a week). Whats a good spring/shock/strut setup for this?

If I decided to go with gears, how much would 4.10's hurt me on mileage? I have a pretty hefty commute and don't want the mileage to get too bad. Of course if I did gears I'd have to do a programmer to correct the speedometer.

Subframes: What brand and standard or full length. Whats the difference between the two handling and ride wise?

What other suggestions do you guys have.

Thanks.

My gears work out great for me with a 5spd. I would go no less than 4.10's with an automatic. If you're main focus is drag racing though maybe something more.

With a catted pipe you shouldn't need MILs...

I say get some:
-Gears
Great for SOTP meter
-Exaust
Make it sound like a muscle car too
-Chip
Correct speed and fix trouble codes if you get non-cat x pipe(which makes more power)

Drag racing is the main focus for having fun with the car, but it's still a daily driver. I drive 40 miles each way to school twice a week and 15 miles each way to work. 4.10's is the highest I'd go.

As for an OR/X, I live in Ca, and while a catted X is still illegal its probably easier to not get nailed for that if a cop wants to look under my car.

Thanks for the info on MIL's, I wasn't sure if I would need them or not.

4.10 gears, Accufab Plenum & 75mm Throttle Body, Catted X pipe. If you can squeek out a little more cash, go for the Steeda High Flow GT Intake.

Ordered an SLP Catback last night, will probably do the x pipe in a few months.

Does the Steeda High Flow include the MAF for the price they sell it for? All the pictures show one but they don't say.
